Humdinger is a 1940s/50s style music and dance event held at Sand Bay Holiday Village, Kewstoke Road, Weston-super-Mare, UK. The weekender is conceived, operated and promoted by Claire Austin (Voodoo Doll) & Paul Richardson for Humdinger Vintage Events Ltd.

The event features live bands, DJs and dance tuition plus other activities.

It is an adults only event for guests that are in residence at the Park. Accommodation, entertainment, access to the Park facilities and half board (breakfast & evening meal) on-site catering is included in the Humdinger price.

Humdinger 2026 is from 12th to 15th June 2026. Accommodation will be available from 16:00hrs on 12th June. However, guests are permitted to use the Village facilities from 14:00hrs following check-in at reception.

We are working with Pontins, as owners of the Viallge, but Humdinger has exclusive use of Sand Bay for the Humdinger event and our guests.

Event passes will not be provided to the general public by Pontins.

We sell the weekend passes at a great value fixed rate per person. The rates are publsihed on our booking form and incorporate an 'early bird' discounted rate for a limited period of time and include all entertainment, dance classes, accomodation, half-board on-site catering and use of the Park facilities i.e. bars, swimming pool

Please note that although our pricing structure is based on a per person rate, it is also aligned to the accomodation type/bed numbers you require e.g. if you are booking as a single person but want a double or twin bed chalet, you will need to pay for two passes.

Early Bird rate is available until 30/09/2025. We advise you to book soon as chalet types are limited

Humdinger weekend passes will not be available at the event. Equally, day and evening passes are not available to purchase.

We encourage guests to buy their passes either online via the booking form on this web site or by using a hard copy form, which can be dowloaded from the booking page and by cheque payment.

Pontins Sand Bay Holiday Park has a number of different types of accommodation, all situated within a short walk of the entertainment hub. The chalets offer en suite facilities featuring a bath or shower. There is LCD TVs with a wide choice of ‘Freeview’ channels, central heating for the cooler months and tea and coffee making facilities.

Yes, bedding and towels are provided but we advise that you bring extra towels.

Yes, Humdinger passes include half board meals. Self service style (all you can eat) breakfast and evening meals with hot and cold options are served in the main restaurant. Drinks can be purchased seperately.

For lunch and snacks there is an onsite cafe and a convenience store plus the main bars will be open during the day and evening.

Vegetarian and vegan options will be available to customers that have indicated their preference on the booking form.

Allergies and intolerances will be catered for. Please ensure you have indicated this on the booking form.

No. Humdinger is for over 18s only and pets are not allowed at Sand Bay Holiday Village.

Humdinger enteratinment will start from 4pm on Friday, 12th June and finish in the small hours of Monday, 15th June 2026. With a host of DJs, live music, dance tuition and more to be announced, our programme will run right the way through the weekend with a few gaps for eating and sleeping!

Yes, the main ballroom will predominantly be for our live acts, DJs and dance classes with the second ballroom being mainly for DJs. Both rooms have great dance floors and bars.

Sand Bay Holiday Park is situated in 17 acres of land opposite Sand Bay beach. The Park facilities include:
